Who Said What, When - A Snippet

Did Mrs. Trump write her own speech?

Did she listen to former First Ladies' speeches and incorporate their words into hers?

Did President Obama do the same sort of thing in 2008?

Does it matter?

I don't know.  I don't care.  I just want this all to be over.  I am tired of judging a candidate by his wife and his children and Scott Baio's tweets.

Then, again, CNN has been running The Race to the White House and I'm not sure I'd have been happier in 1828 or 1948.

  1. I am sick of how the media has attacked this woman over what amounts to a paragraph which likely was influenced by Michelle Obama, which should indicate she admired what she said, but then Michelle got it from her husband who likely got it from Saul Alinsky's book. But seriously instead of real issues, this is where we are??? They condemn her also for marrying or staying married to Trump but never a word against Hillary for marrying and staying with who she did. It's almost enough to make me vote for Trump. lol Well, not really but it might some people when the media is so out of control and trying to make a story that isn't. I don't watch conventions; so I only get this through the media which is bad enough lol

    1. Oh, dear, you are SO RIGHT. Two women who respected one another rewrote what some guys they didn't know presented as a fait accompli. Were they the right people to do that? Should they have been more careful? But I agree, that they probably took what sounded great to them and, as the White House Press Sec'y said today (much to snarky comments on Fox News - which we tune into for 2 or 3 mins to get a glimpse of what's going on) it shows that we agree on a lot more than divides us.

      Would that that were true.

  2. I think it is a big deal. As I posted in an article last night, it shows how lazy Trump is. He's running a JV team in a professional league. He cannot be bothered to hire professionals and he is surrounding himself with idiots. He has such a huge ego that he doesn't think he needs experts--he is the expert. I just want this circus show he's putting on to be over with.

    1. THIS is the issue. Leave Mrs. Trump alone; I am sure the last thing she wants to be doing is running for President's Wife. The fact that no one read the damn thing nor put it thru the anti-plagiarism websites that everyone on earth knows exists shows how poorly prepared he is to be President of anything.

You can't delegate this job, Donald. You have to do it. Sadly, he's showing that either he can't or he won't. There's no spectacle in doing the work.

      GRRRRR.....

    2. So if he didn't let her give a speech, if he insisted on looking over her shoulder, didn't trust her, then he'd be showing respect for women... Not. The ones putting her down for this or blaming Donald already weren't going to vote for him. It's not a big deal to those who already were. The real question is the middle and how they see it. I know how I saw it-- mean spirited and nobody even looked over Michelle's speech back then to see she'd gotten it from her husband. I feel sorry for any wife of a politician as they better develop thick skin and Michelle has sure experienced plenty of that as did Hillary back in her day. Only Laura Bush seemed to not get much but then she wasn't out there much either...

    3. I agree.. See my responses advice for details. I can't imagine he ever asked her if she wanted him to run. This does not seen like a role she relishes.
