What I'm Reading Now
- The Good Daughter - Diana Layne can't decide if she's writing a bodice ripper or a thriller or a detective story. I put it down for schoolwork; I'm probably not going back. Good thing it was a Kindle Book Bub freebie.
- The Redbreast - Jo Nesbo's plot is intricate, even if he does take the easy way out at the end. Multiple personalities? Really?
- Pericles' Funeral Oration via Thucydides. Great speech writing is an art, that's for sure.
- Euripides' Medea - Now there's one angry woman!
What I'm Doing in the Garden Now
- Was going to get tomatoes at Rillito Nursery on Thursday... but the snow prevented our upgrade of the raised bed.
- Watching the snow and cold temps wreak havoc on my succulents
- Waiting - impatiently - for the wildflowers to bloom
What I'm Watching Right Now
- Perry Mason - Paul Drake's sport coats are reason enough to tune in.
- The Americans - Fascinating, provocative, startling drama with some fine acting and writing. Yes, they are living next door....
- Justified - Raylan's right, he hasn't shot anyone in a long time.
- NCAA Men's Basketball - so many teams, so much to cheer for.

- Hello, Dolly! - Barbara Streisand's meddling Jewish mother is priceless.
- Die Another Day - The silly 2nd half is unworthy of the much more interesting start.
- Skyfall - Big Cuter said it best: "It's a good action film but not really a Bond film."
What I'm Listening to Now
- The kitchen music system is broken and I am bereft.
