Traveling

We're over the river and through the woods tomorrow.

We have yet to begin to pack, download boarding passes, or stop the mail.  I did tell the NYTimes not to bring me the paper on Sunday.

The irrigation schedule can be updated by phone (yay, science!) so the garden is not a worry.  School's out for the summer by the time we return; our garden is empty and relatively packed away.  One early morning with my key through the gate will be plenty of time to rake it up and say a proper goodbye.

We're spending too short a time with Seret and Mr. Dreamy Cakes before driving to pick up small humans we haven't seen in far too long. Just typing it makes me smile.

There will be a Show Choir performance and soccer and baseball and soft ball and some of the world's best pizza ever (yes, this from a New Yorker who is definitely a pizza snob).

There may not be many posts with depth.

There will be lots of love.

  1. Go and have a thoroughly marvelous time with those grandkids. Terry and I are trying to figure out time to see ours this summer. Their parents have over-the-top busy lives so we may just pack the kids up and bring them here.

  2. My grands aren't littles anymore and seeing them takes scheduling. We may see them Father's day weekend.
Have a wonderful trip, with lots of hugs.
