It's 4 o'clock in the afternoon and I still haven't written the post that was to go live at midnight..... the midnight that is now 16 hours behind me. I should be thinking about tomorrow's post. Instead, I'm out of sync.
Linda and Carol and Olga commented on yesterday's bout of emotional disequilibrium, all of agreeing that something is just not right.... though it is what it is and we'll get through it. It's not life threatening; it's just weird.
I went outside to take a picture of LiLou sleeping in the sun, but she'd already been called inside. Instead of showing you a pig in heaven, a being totally at one with the earth and the sky, I'll revel in the fact that it's 73 and sunny outside right now, and these are growing in my garden:

I'm icing my hip after doing seven miles on my stationary bike in our chilly garage. This morning I slept in and then did my PT, interrupted by a phone appointment with my hip surgeon. After looking at my accumulation of x-rays he says my nerve pain is from my spine. Great. He prescribed a couple of topical treatments for my hip tendinous. Then I iced my hip for the first time today.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard not to be out of sync when I keep falling apart. But then you would know about such things.
The sun is now shining. The sky is clear. Maybe I can walk outside tomorrow.

The pain is supposed to go away. We are supposed to take advantage of these Golden Years. I'm so sorry that you are still in pain. That's what medical care was supposed to help with. Still, we are here, and, tho achy, able to smile and do some things, and for that I am grateful.
