Wisdom from my French grammar book: "Note: 'the problem' is masculine, 'the solution' is feminine." Worth noting -- grammatically speaking this is fairly unremarkable (nouns ending in -tion are often feminine). Make of that what you will.I am making nothing of it, because I am not looking for an argument. I will say, though, that after watching the news last night, TBG wondered if we could just give the world over to women for a while.
