Pandora's John Philip Sousa station was the perfect accompaniment for my gym work-out on Saturday.
My favorite pieces came from the same two albums - More Great Marches Not By John Philip Sousa
and Sousa's Greatest Hits & Some That Should Have Been.
As I listened to the Colonel Bogey March (composed by Kenneth J. Alford) I reflected on the fact that these musicians are the United States Marine Corps Band, The President's Own , as the album cover informed me.
It's nice to know that they have a sense of humor.
