OUCH

Remember my mis-shapen finger?

It continued to bend further and further to the side.

The hand surgeon said that the tip would fall off if I didn't let him repair it,

So, I went under the knife.

This is what I've got right now.

I was two posts ahead to cover my anticipated recovery time but this thing really hurts.

Typing is not easy. 

My opposable thumb has nothing to oppose.

So, if you don't mind, I'm taking the weekend to heal.

I'll be back on Monday, I promise.

For now, I'm going to take a vicodin and not operate any heavy machinery.
