BY THE WAY, 'dadgumit' is really a completely great term in case your loved ones sapling origins have been in a few areas of the actual Southern. Individuals origins proceed heavy, do not these people? Life goes on and you have the happy memories. For some reason, I always have emotional attachments to trees. We planted a dogwood in my backyard to remind me of Madeleine (the child I told you about and whose parents I work for). I look out my kitchen window every day and I see it thriving and growing. It gives me hope and reminds that she's still missing, but is findable. It blooms lovely pink petals around her birthday--another reason why I chose it. Pink is her favorite color.

Have to laugh at the Polaroids. My parents had a polaroid camera. I LOVED taking pictures with it and waiting for the time when we could peel off the part for the picture to show. You can get Polaroid film still, but it's very, very expensive. :(

I hope the tree can be salvaged for other things like the walking sticks or something to remember it by. I'm always sad when such big trees go.

Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Megan xxx

MShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02622415628314992252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2546626959391412613.post-65663546770254004602012-11-13T08:52:06.545-07:002012-11-13T08:52:06.545-07:00Thanks, Sharon. BTW, 'dadgumit' is a perfectly good word if your family tree roots are in some parts of the South. Those roots go deep, don't they?
