That said, we have to do more to regulation gun ownership but this guy could have gotten his first gun inside with a knife; so it wouldn't stop what happened. Someone asked last night why so much more frequent. I think it was Rachel's interview with Mark Kelly and he said not treating mental illness appropriately. Yes, guns should be regulated, licensed, limited, but even if we did all that, it won't stop violence when it's about voices that someone hears due to a microwave. That's just an all round tragedy.

I try not to spend too much time listening to it either as frankly it can swamp you; so your idea of reading a book instead sounds like a winner to me. What I hate worse is those who try to make political hay out of it on either side. This is a national issue that should be addressed but for real solutions not partisan points. It literally could happen to any of us. But one thing we need to keep in mind-- so could cancer; so could an auto accident; so could a violent storm. I think we need to live responsibly, alertly but we can't prevent all bad things even if we as a nation do all we can-- and right now we're not doing all we can.Rain Trueaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07994628226501093880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2546626959391412613.post-8867244248526406792013-09-18T07:44:55.511-07:002013-09-18T07:44:55.511-07:00I think it is best for you to not get caught up in...I think it is best for you to not get caught up in it. Let those of us that can, carry on for you. I am doing my part and I will continue to fight for you and Christina-Taylor. Even though I'm so damn angry, I have to do something. My heart just aches that those who have lived through this keep being victimized. You are victims and yet the wounds keep getting re-opened by the inaction of Congress and our leaders. I'm just gobsmacked that NOTHING is getting through to these people.

It's time to elect people that will do what is best for our society and to stop caving to the NRA and the gun manufacturers. We do have to address mental illness too.

Sending lots of love and hugs!

Megan xxxMShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02622415628314992252noreply@blogger.com
