You are a good soul to go to the winter concert. Although I was invited by one of the classes, their performance time was 7:25 pm, about the time I am heading to bed, on a day when I am really tired. Their teacher said it was a hard day for everyone as it is also cold and dark at that time.
"She doesn't speak much English" but it didn't keep them from working together and laughing and getting stuff done. They know who they are and who they want to be. It's a joy to watch. a/b
Sharing the love, one small human at a time. Grandmother, gardener, reader, lover of old movies and deep thinkers, often surprised, rarely disappointed.

Such a diverse group of beautiful little kids. I imagine they are keeping their cultures while becoming Americanized too. Such is our melting pot.
Linda is so right, what a diverse group of little folks, so nice to see.
8am! I adore our music teacher and wanted to see what he'd wrought. It was worth it.

From my perspective, in my town at least, this is what America looks like right now.

Yes! I could make it to an 8 a.m. concert. And the kids are fresh, too.
Tomorrow is the 8am Spirit Assembly to which I have been invited. Sleeping in is apparently a luxury at this time of year!
