Overheard
Two school administrators chatting at a social event.
And she went on and on and on. Worried beyond worried. What was I going to do?

Oh, I like Olga's comment! And yes, Teaching gets harder and harder with so many "experts" trying to .....Oh, I almost said, "trying to call the shots". I guess I need to come up with a new expression. Oh dear.
I stood there watching these brave women who just want kids to learn and who are faced with violence of every sort every day. The highs are why I am Grandma at Prince; the lows are the fears I have when I approach campus. At least now I can run :-(
